A Look into London's CBD Food & Drink Scene

Use this guide to find the best CBD infused food and drink in London

CBD has made its way into almost everything in almost every market—including food and beverages—and London's trendiest restaurants and coffee shops have jumped onto the wave.

Unlike THC, CBD cannot make you high as there is no psychoactive compound. Instead, lower volumes are used by people for medical reasons such as: pain management, anxiety and stress.

While eating as the following restaurants won't get you high, you can still enjoy healthy plant-based foods, relax and take in the benefits of CBD.

CBD for Lunch?

If you're looking to eat some CBD infused food but aren't sure what you're in the mood for, then head over to The Feel-Good Café.

Located on Station Road, The Feel-Good Café is currently ranked the 178thbest place to eat in London. They offer a full lunch time and breakfast menu of plant based foods. You can add CBD oil to anything on their menu, so there's no pressures or restrictions on what you can choose!

The restaurant also sells their own CBD oil, that can be bought in store to take home.

Sweet Treats

Regardless of your dietary requirements London has a wide range of CBD infused desert spots that are vegan, gluten free and sugar free!

If you find yourself in West London, be sure to check out Yogland. It's the perfect way to CBD and chill on a hot summers day. They serve a, vegan hemp matcha flavoured frozen yogurt that is infused with 40% CBD oil- one of the only places that infuses with a high percentage of CBD.

To get the proper London tourist experience, you can enjoy high tea at Farmacy. Their company ethos is to only use ingredients that are beneficial for your health. Their signature O.M.G shot: a syringe filled with flaxseed oil, grape fruit and of course, CBD, is a popular item on their menu for those obsessed with health foods or those who just like the idea of squeezing a syringe.

At Farmacy, you can have a quiet afternoon hemp-leaf tea with a side of CBD infused truffles, or a fruity infused cocktail at their Instagram famous bar. If you're there later on in the day then try their CBD infused tahini. Its the perfect balance between sweet and savoury.

At Plant Hub you will be spoilt for choice, as majority of their menu items include CBD and exclude gluten and refined sugars. Popular picks at the Plant Hub are their CBD granola energy bars, banana bread and coconut flavoured CBD dessert slice, which comes topped with a hemp and caramel swirl.

Something to Wash It All Down

After a day of eating, a coffee at Farm Girl is a must. The chic café offers a variety of CBD infused hot drinks, as well as a special hot chocolate for the holiday season.

To get into the Christmas spirit you can order The Happy Hot Chocolate. This hot chocolate is unlike any you've had before, as it contains a unique combination of CBD oil, matcha, cacao, peppermint and frothed hazelnut milk.

If you're getting ready for a London night out or just having a few cocktails in the city check out this cocktail bar in the heart of Hackney, Behind This Wall. They incorporate different house CBD syrups into their signature cocktails or mocktails if your prefer, as the CBD syrup pairs well with almost everything.

At Behind This Wall there is no waste, as their snack bar offers a variety of weird yet surprising tasty snacks- made from unneeded drink ingredients. Alongside your cocktails you can snack on some toasted rum infused pecans, caramelised with CBD honey.

Another place to check out is Maison Bab, although be warned it can get busy, as it has become a popular place for tourists because it is the sister to the famous LeBab in Covent Garden. But if you happen to make it there be sure to check out their CBD infused take on a classic Gin & Tonic called Gin & Chronic – the perfect name.
